I'm not sure where to start. Which service is right for me?
If you don't have a community yet and aren't sure it fits your business, start with the Community Strategy Intensive (£350). If you are ready to build, the Community Launch Blueprint (£495) gives you a plan to run yourself, while the Community Foundation (£1,500) adds the setup work. If you already have a community that isn't delivering, the Community Growth Audit (£500) diagnoses what's wrong, and the Community-to-Revenue Blueprint (£700) maps how the community can contribute to revenue.
What does a fractional community manager do?
A fractional community manager runs your community on an ongoing, part-time basis, so you get an experienced lead without a full-time hire. In my Fractional Community Manager service that means monthly planning and regular member communications, day-to-day engagement and moderation during agreed hours, member onboarding and activation, one recurring engagement programme, one online community event per month, and a monthly performance report with recommendations.
How much does a fractional community manager cost?
My Fractional Community Manager service is £2,000 per month for one community on one primary platform with agreed service hours. The Fractional Head of Community partnership starts at £3,500 per month. One-off services start at £350: the Community Strategy Intensive is £350, the Community Launch Blueprint £495, the Community Growth Audit £500, the Community-to-Revenue Blueprint £700 and the Community Foundation from £1,500. Additional platforms, communities, intensive events and extended coverage are priced separately.
What is the difference between the Community Launch Blueprint and the Community Foundation?
The Community Launch Blueprint (£495) is a strategy and planning engagement for a new community: purpose and positioning, ideal member profile, structure and platform recommendation, member acquisition strategy, onboarding journey, the first 90 days of engagement programming, and success metrics. You take the plan and run it yourself. The Community Foundation (£1,500) goes further with the setup work, including community guidelines and moderation procedures, to get your community ready to launch. It also suits an existing community that has no clear strategy.
What is a community growth audit?
A Community Growth Audit (£500) is a one-off diagnostic for businesses that already have a community but aren't getting the growth, engagement or commercial value they expected. It reviews your community structure and member journey, onboarding, engagement and retention, activities and programming, and how the community contributes to acquisition, adoption and revenue. You receive a practical Community Growth Report, a prioritised 30-day action plan and a 45-minute findings and recommendations call.
What is the Community Strategy Intensive?
The Community Strategy Intensive (£350) is a 90-minute consulting session for founders who want to build a community but don't know where to start, or existing community leads dealing with a specific challenge. It includes a pre-session questionnaire, the 90-minute strategy session, answers to your specific community challenges, a written summary of recommendations, and three immediate actions to implement.
What is the difference between a fractional community manager and a fractional head of community?
A fractional community manager runs one established community consistently: engagement, moderation, onboarding, events and reporting. A fractional head of community adds strategic ownership on top: community growth and retention strategy, collaboration with marketing, customer success or product teams, feedback analysis and customer insight reporting, advocacy programmes and quarterly strategic reviews.
Which companies do you work with?
I work with technology companies and SaaS businesses in the UK, USA, Australia and Canada. The people I usually work with are founders, Heads of Marketing and Customer Success leaders who want to onboard users, encourage product adoption, build customer communities, gather feedback and improve retention.
